At EOAC Head Start and Early Head Start, supporting children means caring for the whole child. Healthy meals and snacks are an important part of helping children learn, grow, and thrive each day.

As we begin the new school year, EOAC is proud to share that our Head Start and Early Head Start programs participate in the United States Department of Agriculture Child and Adult Care Food Program, commonly known as CACFP.

Through our participation in CACFP, nutritious meals and snacks are provided to all enrolled children at no cost to families. Meals are provided in accordance with USDA CACFP meal pattern requirements designed to support healthy growth and development.

Supporting Every Child

EOAC is committed to making sure children have access to the meals they need while participating in our programs.

Meals are provided to all enrolled children without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

We also understand that some children may have dietary restrictions or require special meal accommodations. Families who need a dietary accommodation for their child should contact their Family Advocate or Center Director so our team can help address their needs.

Information regarding how to file a discrimination complaint is also available upon request.

Helping Children Learn, Grow, and Thrive

Good nutrition is an important part of a child’s Head Start and Early Head Start experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with families in promoting healthy eating habits and supporting children’s overall well-being.

We look forward to another great year of learning, growing, and thriving together.
