EOAC helps families across the Heart of Texas access early childhood education, utility assistance, weatherization, workforce opportunities, family support, emergency assistance, and connections to additional resources.

What does “EOAC” stand for?

EOAC is an acronym for Economic Opportunities Advancement Corporation. Our full name is actually Economic Opportunities Advancement Corporation of Planning Region XI. We use EOAC for short! 

What counties do you serve?

EOAC serves nine counties across the Heart of Texas: McLennan, Bosque, Freestone, Limestone, Hill, Falls, Johnson, Ellis, and Navarro.

You can apply online (links provided on program pages), by calling our office at (254) 753-0331, or by visiting us at 1800 N. Valley Mills Dr., Waco.

How is EOAC funded?

Our programs are funded through federal, state, and local government grants, with additional support from partners and donors.

When does the Board meet?

EOAC operates under the open meetings act, and schedules, agendas, and minutes are posted publicly in the Reports & Financials section of this site. The board meets monthly (most 4th Mondays), see website for agendas and dates.
