Who We Serve

EOAC serves families and community members across nine Heart of Texas counties: McLennan, Bosque, Freestone, Limestone, Hill, Falls, Johnson, Ellis, and Navarro. Eligibility varies by program, but our goal is consistent: meet families where they are and help connect them to the right next step.

How We’re Funded

EOAC is supported by a diverse mix of federal, state, and local funding, along with grants from foundations, community partners, and individual donors. This blend allows us to sustain programs year-round and remain responsive to the evolving needs of families in the Heart of Texas.

EOAC was chartered by the State of Texas in April 1966 to carry out the provisions of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.
